About
Carlos is a technology executive who builds and maintains this hub on a volunteer basis, alongside in-person scam-awareness talks for older-adult communities.
Why this site exists
Older adults lose billions of dollars each year to phone scams, and the social cost (isolation, shame, family conflict) is even harder to measure. The fix is not technical literacy alone, it is recognition: knowing what these calls sound like before one arrives. This site exists to put real, verified cases and plain-language guidance in front of older adults, families, caregivers, and the staff at the residences and senior centers that serve them.
